on how to apply Hempel's Antifoulings products on your boat
Step 1
Ensure you wear suitable protective clothing, including mask and protective glasses.
Step 2
If you are not sure what antifouling you have on your boat, before applying new Antifouling on top of it, you should seal the surface with Hempel's underwater primer
Step 3
Mix the product well.
Step 4
Pour enough paint for the job into suitable container and make sure to remove excess paint from the roller.
Step 5
Apply Hempel's Underwater Primer on the surface that is in a good condition and free from contaminates.
Step 6
When the surface is dry/almost dry, apply the chosen antifouling. To choose the correct antifouling, check our Paint Manual.
Step 7
Open the can with care. Pour enough paint for the job into a suitable container and make sure to remove excess paint from the roller.
Step 8
Fast application is more important than a very smooth finish. Use a "crisscross" technique, apply from side to side and then from up to down on the same area.
