A fine and abrasive rubbing compound to remove oxidisation and light scratch marks from most surfaces, including aluminium. Restores and renews gloss and colour to gelcoat and painted surfaces.
Follow our Step By Step instructions
to learn how to remove oxidation from surfaces
Step 1
Gelcoat ages and degrades over time. The degree of degradation depends on many factors, including: - the colour and pigment of the gelcoat - whether or not the gelcoat has received maintenance treatment - environmental conditions under which the boat is stored, such as in strong sunlight - mechanical damage - weathering
Step 2
Thoroughly clean and wash the surface with Hempel's Boat Shampoo and plenty of fresh water in order to remove any dust and contaminants that may cause scratching during the polishing process.
Step 3
Apply Hempel's Rubbing Liquid evenly onto the surface by rubbing in a circular motion until the product is nearly dry.
Step 4
Wipe off with a clean rag. Repeat the treatment if needed.
Step 5
Once the surface has achieved the desired look and high gloss, apply Hempel's Wax TecCel in order to protect the surface.
